Wearing a dress is a personal choice. Then one should not object to skimpy dresses at religious places or as they are forbidden in some countries. If a religious group wants to get their ways accepted by others then they would have to open to the practices of other religions as well, it is a two-way traffic.
It should always be the person's choice what to wear but not at all places. In schools where young children come to study, if a teacher wears a veil it creates a negative impact on the young minds. Most of the offices these days follow a dress code & no woman is an exception to that whatever be her religion or she should sit home or work in countries which would allow her religious practices. Law is the most important thing in a country & no religion cannot fight that.
Comparing a catholic nun with a common Muslim woman is foolish & illogical. A nun has renounced the world, those Muslim women who wear veil, have they renounced the world? Sikhs wearing a turban is not an identity problem, they do not cover their whole body including their face with turbans.

Sikhs are supposed to, according to their religion, come with a knife hung on their body. Will you allow that?

sikhs dont go 2 work hanging knives & we all follow dress code, so muslim women should also follow dresscode of the organization they work for. u urslf answered ur query. & veil is negative, when a woman cant evn show her face wht will she teach, education brings freedom not slavery
