Truth or Prejudice

"The fundamental doctrines of any religion or faith are only ways to an end & must not be maintained dogmatically for their own sake. There are truths which can be realized as 'Nirvana' (salvation) is approached." - Lord Buddha

Those who think that truth is in their exclusive keeping & their faith is the only approach to God, suffer from obstreperous sectarianism. One faith being true does not render other faiths untrue. For God being omnipotent, omniscient & omnipresent nothing is beyond It.

Being a believer is not belonging to a particular faith or following a particular book or person. It means believing in the entity of God in all It's forms. I have used the word It for God because I do not believe God is masculine in gender.

With disrespect for other religions one exhibits prejudice. When prejudice is there complete unconditional surrender is not there. Without surrender there is no salvation. People who think or who have been preached that God can be achieved without purifying their hearts i.e. complete unconditional surrender simply show that humans though created in the image of God can actually be worse than animals, for humans can posses malice & selfishness in their character.
