There are only two fundamental things zero - formless & one-with form. The 'one' creates confusion and differences and is the root cause of all miseries, that is why religions demand to worship the formless i.e. zero

Non-Hindus think, hinduism propagates indolatry, but few know vedas were the foremost to propagate the idea of a formless God. All with forms are considered lesser gods or demi gods which are mostly natural forces like sun, moon, wind, water, sea etc, but the supreme god has no form. Later on they developed idolatry & forms. This was meant for less educated people as giving high end info to under educated ppl might prove dangerous as we can see from christianity & islam & now in hinduism to some extent.

As we say in security services, classified or confidential information, some information are always to be filtered before making them public, so is applicable in case of knowledge about God. In gospel of judas even jesus said this, so did ramakrishna paramhansa dev; and in ancient india vedas were restricted only to the intellectuals who in turn would teach the lesser individuals or else knowledge would be misused as fanaticism

The ultimate or supreme truth is formless god or in todays IT terms we can say GOD.0 and the filetered information downloaded to the less educated (intellectual) people is the God with form i.e GOD.1.
